Departure day for my family

Well the day has finally come. As I sit in lovely Chinese quarantine, my family gets ready for the big trip to the other side of the world. They have so many suitcases (12 to check in and about 57 carry ons) it is taking two friends to get them to the airport.

I had a exciting trip to Shanghai. I landed in London and decided to take a 5 day vacation at the Heathrow airport. Lovely kennel there and the weather in Shanghai was so bloody hot I didn't want to leave. I was disappointed that the Queen didn't bring a few of the hunting hounds to visit me. Anyhow I am now enjoying my stay in a Chinese kennel. The food is good and they walk me often. It is still very hot and I am thankful they paid extra for the air conditioned kennel! I will hopefully rejoin my family this weekend. I miss my kids!

I will be sure to fill you all in on my family's trip over and will post some pictures once they get here. We can't wait for the adventures to begin.

Peabody,
We hope your family is reunited with you soon! Beleive it or not, it is cooler in Shanghai than GPP. Still, we are happy your family sprang for the air conditioning. We're sure everybody will appreciate the air conditioning in your new home!

To your family---hope the planeride was fast and trouble-free.

I'm glad that Peabody will be reunited with everyone soon. It seems strange to look over at your house and realize that you are on the other side of the globe.

Keep us posted on your adventure!
